1-Cef-SB Injection 1.5 gm is a prescription antibacterial formulation containing Ceftriaxone Sodium equivalent to Ceftriaxone 1000 mg and Sulbactam Sodium equivalent to Sulbactam 500 mg per vial.

Ceftriaxone is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that works against susceptible bacteria, while Sulbactam helps inhibit certain beta-lactamase enzymes that can contribute to bacterial resistance to beta-lactam antibiotics.

It may be used by healthcare professionals for the management of susceptible bacterial infections, including infections involving the respiratory tract, urinary tract, intra-abdominal tissues, skin and soft tissues, and other systemic infections, depending on the identified or suspected causative organisms and clinical condition.

The injection is intended for intramuscular (I.M.) or intravenous (I.V.) administration only. The vial should be reconstituted with the appropriate sterile diluent according to the prescribing information and administered under medical supervision.
